Just silly fluff, I don't write often but I'm trying to practice.
After weeks and weeks of waiting Wooyoung couldn't take it anymore.
"Please hyung! You're the only one of the members that has no schedule on my birthday! Please take me to the show!"
"Do you have to be so whiny?"
"Maybe if your ears weren't so large you wouldn't be able to hear my whining!"
"If I take you will you leave me and my ears alone for once!?"
"I'll buy you a tshirt."
Wooyoung slammed Taec's door as he stormed out.
"I love you too...brat."
"I've been waiting to see this concert since I was a young kid!"
"but you're still a kid."
Wooyoung couldn't help but sulk at his hyung's blunt treatment of him.
Taecyeon had been acting rather odd lately. There seemed to be this insurmountable distance between them. Even today, Wooyoung's special day Taec couldn't manage a friendly demeanor.
"You know it's my birthday and I appreciate you taking me to see the show but if you're going to mope and avoid me for no reason, we can just go home now."
Taec was bewildered at Wooyoung's sudden outburst. It wasn't like Taec was deliberately being a jerk. Taec just had a lot on his mind. All Wooyoung wanted to do was have fun, Taec however had nothing but work to do. Even on his day off he could think of nothing but his schedules for the next day. He was snapped out of his mental calendar when Wooyoung started raising his voice again.
"So what are we doing? Getting into a better mood and enjoying a concert, or being pouty and going home to silence and me not speaking to you for a week?"
Taec being a logical man knew better than to cause his dongsaeng to be bitter, because for some reason, even when being given the silent treatment he seemed to frequently hear offhand remarks about his large ears or his "pancake butt".
Taec was confident in his cute butt until he used the last of Wooyoungs shampoo, "never again," Taec swore under his breath.
After a moment of contemplation and a heavy sigh, the older boy managed to get an apology out followed by him dragging Wooyoung by the wrist into the concert.
After jumping and screaming to all of his favorite songs Wooyoung was in a much better mood, and much to his surprise so was Taec.
"I'm glad you cheered up hyung."
Taec smiled, it was only on rare occasions that Wooyoung would use honorifics with him. He might be a little immature but he tries.
"Yeah well I'm glad we could have a fun night off."
"Is there anything on your mind? You seemed distracted earlier."
"I was... but I think a concert is just what I needed."
Wooyoung smiled at his hyung, and when Taec saw him smile he saw something new. He wasn't just thinking about having fun. He wasn't planning his next insult for Taec. Wooyoung was looking out for someone he loved.
Taec wrapped an arm around Wooyoung.
with a deep breath he pushed aside all the concerns of his life and held the younger man tight.
"Y'know, I'm starting to believe you aren't just a kid."
"Would it help if I told you you have a nice butt?"
"It wouldn't hurt."
"Baby steps hyung."
"So is now the wrong time to ask if this hairstyle makes my ears look bigger?"
"Sometimes it's like you want me to hurt you."
"That's the risk you take in loving someone."
Taec looked down with a shy grin on his face, and all Wooyoung could do was blush.
For a brief, beautiful moment, Wooyoung was speechless.
"I love you too Ok Taecyeon."
